I awake

From dreams too surreal

To let me deal

With past emotions

Flowing solidly into

The present

Stop clouding my mind, hurting

My heart

I feel dazed, so dazed

I’m ready to make decisions based on

Crazed emotions

Delirious, I’m in my realm

Where you only exist as

A long drawn out memory

To drawn-

Out to you I reach

Knowing yours is long, strong

I try to hold on to the slipping

Trust that was more than once

Broken, for some bullshit

Token to take you on your trips

Through towns and all around

Only back home where you found

What was real

Just as they are
